Realistic Picture Group Internal

We used this material study to understand more fully photorealism as it applies to industrial design. Using some iconic headphones as reference, we recreated them from scratch as a photorealistic 3D asset, using only internet photos as reference.

To create this project, we utilized a similar workflow as previous projects, with the addition of Substance Designer to create the leather patterns and the fine wood texture.

By using principled shading techniques and color management, we were able to ensure the asset would look correct in “studio” shots, floating in empty space, and sitting in a realistic environment.
